Pedro is an Ecologist with a PhD on Mediterranean forests. During his long professional career, he worked for Spanish research institutions and universities, as an expert on Environmental Impact Assessment in the private sector, and in international NGOs like WWF and IUCN as a forest specialist. He is now a free-lance consultant specialised in natural resource management, forest landscape restoration, and adaptation to climate change. He is involved in the Mediterranean Mosaics projects since its very early design stage.
Marco started his professional career at at WWF-Italy and spent almost 20 years at WWF International (Asia/Pacific and Mediterranean Programmes) before becoming a free- lance consultant based in Madrid, Spain. He has a solid experience in the fields of biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, rural development and adaptation to climate change, having worked in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America with several UN agencies and international NGOs. He is involved in the Mediterranean Mosaics projects since its very early design stage.
Marco started his professional career at the Abruzzo Region IT Department in 2001 and was involved on the creation of a new official website for the Regional Authority. During the last 15 years Marco has developed a solid experience in the field of Information and Communications Technology, working as web designer and graphic designer. Marco has been involved on the first part of Mediterranean Mosaics, making a variety of websites and blogs. In MM part 2, he will be dealing with web communication and the brand identity of the project.
