Water management and conservation guidelines for SBR

As a preliminary step, the ACS is carrying a groundwater assessment for Falougha and Ain Zhalta in the Shouf area with Antea Group, a French company, in order to monitor water inputs and outputs in the area surrounding the Reserve.

This work is being carried out with funds that match the MAVA budget. In the second half of this year ACS will appoint experts to produce the water map of SBR highlighting seasonal availability and gaps in the different watersheds.
