Meeting with “Montagne Fiorentine” Model Forest Association (FMMF) in Tuscany
The 9th and 10th November 2016, A delegation of ILEX followed by the international technical assistant of MM project, Pedro Regato and the Sirente Velino Natural Park technician of forestry service, Luigi del Giudice, met delegates of the “Montagne Fiorentine” Model Forest Association (FMMF) in Tuscany.
FMMF is the first Italian association which joined the International Model Forest Network: a partnership-based process through which individuals and groups, representing a diversity of values, work together toward a common vision of sustainable development for a landscape in which forests are an important feature. This has been an important occasion to see how a Forest model Association works “in field” and to understand the administrative an political process to join the international network.
